Islip Animal Rescue Alliance
501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to finding permanent homes for dogs and cats from Suffolk County shelters and high-intake facilities.
Islip Animal Rescue Alliance (IARA) was founded in 2013 by a group of volunteer foster families. We partner with Suffolk County Animal Control and five municipal shelters to pull at-risk animals and place them in a network of 80+ approved foster homes. Since founding, IARA has rehomed over 3,400 animals.
